"The team were prompt, helpful, polite and worked extremely hard, starting work by 8.30am and not leaving until they were sure the roof was watertight at 6.45pm. Tidied up very well at the end of the job. We would be very happy to recommend them."

Workmanship guarantee on every new roof we fit
A selection from 800+ roofs completed across St Albans and Hatfield.
St Albans has Victorian and Edwardian terraces around the city centre and Fleetville, with 1930s semis out towards Marshalswick and London Colney. Many of those slate and clay tile roofs are now a century old, and the valleys, ridges and chimney flashings are where leaks start. We fix what has actually failed and put the price in writing first.
We live and work in the same towns we serve. We know the local housing stock and which jobs give trouble round here. No franchise, no subcontractors shipped in from elsewhere.
Your written quote is the price you pay. We itemise every cost upfront. No "while we're here" extras, no surprise invoices when the job is done.
Call or fill in the form and someone rings you back the same day. We confirm a visit date on that first call. No chasing, no voicemail loops.
Public liability and employer's liability insurance in place on every job. We can email certificates before work starts, so there's no chasing needed.

“I started E Stanley & Son Roofing Ltd with one simple rule - if I wouldn't accept it on my own house, it doesn't go on yours. Most of our work today comes from word of mouth and second jobs from happy customers. That's how I know we're doing it right.”
